Overview
Rock Crabs are master ambush predators that have evolved perfect camouflage, making them nearly indistinguishable from ordinary boulders. These heavily armored crustaceans remain completely motionless until a player steps too close or attacks them, at which point they spring to life with surprising speed. Their thick chitin plates provide excellent protection, making them difficult to kill without proper weapons. Rock Crabs are territorial but not actively aggressive, making them a neutral threat that can be avoided with careful observation. They drop valuable chitin plates used for advanced armor crafting and occasionally yield rare minerals from their shells.
