Copper Ore is a critical resource for electrical and electronic systems in StarRupture, distinguished by its characteristic orange-red coloration. While less abundant than iron, copper becomes increasingly vital as you progress into automation and power generation. Every circuit board, battery, and power cable requires copper, making it one of the most strategically important resources in the game. Unlike iron which is everywhere, copper requires deliberate exploration to locate rich deposits. Smart players establish dedicated copper mining outposts early, as running out of copper can halt technological progression entirely.

Primary Method: Found in cave systems and rocky outcrops. Look for orange-tinted rock formations.
