Wall
Defense Building • Tier 1
Overview
Walls are the most fundamental defensive structure in StarRupture, providing a physical barrier between your base and the hostile alien creatures that roam the planet. These simple wooden barriers block creature movement and absorb damage, giving you time to respond to attacks or allowing automated defenses to eliminate threats. While basic walls have limited durability and can be destroyed by persistent attacks, they are cheap to build and essential for early survival. Every base starts with wooden walls, which should be upgraded to stronger materials as resources become available. Proper wall placement creates chokepoints that maximize defensive efficiency.
